Cable Protection

Cable protection can be split in to two main groups:...
Conduit - Which is typically terminated at both ends, with fittings, and protects cables outside the electrical cabinet or enclosure. It is designed to provide excellent mechanical strength, flexibility and abrasion resistance and will also withstand extreme environments and temperatures.
Sleeving - Which more commonly protects and controls cables within electrical assemblies. High performance materials such as PTFE and silicone offer protection against high temperatures. Heat shrink sleeving is used to harness wires and provide insulation and protection of electronic components.
